Charity Commission win
The Environment Foundation has won a four year battle with the Charity Commission - with the Commissioners’ announcement that they have accepted a new charitable purpose.  For the first time, the promotion of sustainable development is now a charitable purpose in its own right.

Values & Sustainability
In November 2001, the Foundation funded and hosted a lecture at the Royal Institution, London:
Sustainability doesn’t come naturally:
A Darwinian perspective on values
by Professor Richard Dawkins, FRS, Simonyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science, University of Oxford
